IOUs for RIPs: Greece’s cash crisis creates hardships for funeral homes and mourning families
Greece’s cash crisis has disrupted all aspects of daily life — death included.
Greek funeral homes are struggling to cope with banking restrictions that limit customers to taking out only 60 euros ($65) a day in cash. Even a modest funeral service in Greece costs more than 15 times that, in a country that traditionally carries out funerals shortly after death and pays for them almost entirely in cash.

Proposed Law Would Strip Words ‘Husband’ and ‘Wife’ from Federal Code
Last week, Rep. Lois Capps (D-Calif.) introduced a bill that would remove the words “husband” and “wife” from the language used in federal law – a move that had drawn ire from faith leaders and family advocacy groups that see this legislation as expected fallout from the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in June that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.

Gay Man Being Deported Because Marriage Not Recognized

Cry me a River. First, we have to many “immigrants”, legal and illegal coming to this country. Here’s an idea: fix your own country, and stay there. We have enough problems in this country that we are dealing with.
From myfoxny.com:

Henry Velandia and Josh Vandiver married in Montville, Connecticut on August 29, 2010. Henry Velandia is in deportation proceedings because the Defense of Marriage Act prevents Josh Vandiver from sponsoring him for residency.

How much money are these proceedings costing tax payers?

Liberals Pressure Schwarzenegger to Proclaim 'Harvey Milk Day'

Oh my goodness, the gays in this country are a piece of work, I’ll tell ya what. Do they think the louder they scream “you must accept us, you must love our way of life, you must teach your kids about Homo sex”, that it will help their case to win over the hearts and minds of Americans? How has that been working for them so far?

From Newsmax ;

California Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger finds himself in the middle of America’s culture war.

Schwarzenegger will soon decide whether to sign legislation designating May 22 as “Harvey Milk Day.”

The day would honor the first openly gay person elected to U.S. public office.

But a coalition of conservative and outraged Christian groups claim that the commemoration is intended to promote the gay and lesbian life style in public schools.

Girl Scouts exposed: Lessons in lesbianism

Folks, you have got to read “the rest of this story”, it’s a doosey.

From WND:

When many parents think of Girl Scouts, they imagine young girls in uniform selling Thin Mints and Tagalong cookies – not learning about stone labyrinths, world peace, global warming, yoga, avatars, smudging incense, Zen gardens and feminist, communist and lesbian role models.

But that’s exactly what many of 2.7 million Girl Scouts will learn about with a new curriculum called “Journeys” released last year.

Patti Garibay spent nearly two decades in Girl Scouts – six years as a girl member and 13 years as a volunteer. She was also a recruiter, camp coordinator and area delegate winning outstanding leader and volunteer in both councils in which she served. In Garibay’s words, she “bled green.”

But in 1993 when Girl Scouts USA decided to make God optional in its program at the national convention in Minneapolis, an idea known as “Proposal 3: Flexibility in Spiritual Wording,” Garibay chose to leave the organization.

Above is just the tip of this political iceberg.

Pass the towels! Plans for coed locker rooms

This is unbelievable!

From WND:

The governing council in Montgomery County, Md., is considering adopting an “open doors” policy to its public restrooms, locker rooms and other facilities to meet the demands of a transgender “non-discrimination” plan, which would allow men into women’s lockers and vice versa, a support group reports.

A similar federal non-discrimination plan proposed by homosexual Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., includes a provision that would prevent “transgenders” from using opposite-sex public facilities in which being seen “fully unclothed” was unavoidable, according to Peter Sprigg, a spokesman for Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays.

But he said correspondence with the county staff shows that such a provision was considered, and deliberately rejected, in the county plan, which is scheduled for a vote Nov. 13.

“Montgomery County is unwilling to make any such exception,” he told WND. “It’s very extreme.”

According to notes from city council meetings, Sprigg said, the only requirement will be that the person using the public facilities, including showers and locker rooms, be of the gender they present in public.

See where political correctness and diversity has gotten us? People with mental problems who just “Perceive” themselves as being of a gender. They are putting women in a position of accepting a naked men in the women’s locker room! This would even put female children in this position! This is unbelievably idiotic and another example of the tyranny of the minority. Anyone who thinks this is ok, needs their head examined.
